TCV's purpose is to ensure that the potential of voluntary action for the environment is fully realised. TCV is the UK's largest practical conservation charity. Founded in 1959, we help over 130,000 volunteers every year take hands-on action to improve both the rural and urban environment. It could be helping to build stiles, laying hedges, scrub and pond clearance, planting wild flowers, the improvement of country paths and rights of way - the list is endless.
