Digital Champions are people of all ages and from all backgrounds and communities. They help others understand the benefits of using the internet and can show them how to do simple things online that can make a huge difference to people’s lives.
CGL, Luton Recovery Alliance
Following training you will support the facilitation and delivery of Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and providing naloxone medication to clients. You will be supporting clients who are accessing community detoxes at our service and help to run testing event days.

Train to be a Radio presenter at Bedford’s longest Hospital Radio Station. We are looking for people over the age of 18 who can commit to at least 2 hours a week and also help out at Outside Broadcasts.
Schoolreaders
School reader volunteers needed in Bedfordshire
1 in 4 children left primary school last year unable to read well. This means they are unable to fully access their secondary education and this can have a lifelong impact. Schoolreaders wants to help change this. We now operate in every county in England, supporting over 27,000 children each week.
Action Tutoring –
By volunteering as a tutor at a local school or online, you'll be supporting children to build their confidence and help ensure they leave school with the grades needed to build a bright future.
Re-engage
As a tea party host, you’ll host a tea party in your home once or twice a year providing refreshments for the older guests, volunteer drivers and the tea party group coordinator.

Forget-Me-Not at Bedford Hospital
Forget-Me-Not Volunteers provide social interaction and engagement for hospital patients, with a focus on patients who are living with dementia. They support staff, carers and families to make hospital stays more warm, friendly and positive.
Living It Up
To provide support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and other disabilities at bi monthly nightclub and gig style events held at various locations around Bedford.
