Bright Futures UK is the only charity dedicated to providing complete and inclusive education support for children and young people facing serious illness. We understand firsthand how a long-term illness can disrupt not only a young person’s health, but also their education, friendships, and future opportunities. Our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between education and illness by offering personalised, flexible support to young people across the UK whose learning has been interrupted by prolonged health conditions. We support our young people through our flagship programmes; Tutoring, Befriending, Workshops and Mentoring. Each programme has a different objective, with every session being designed alongside the young person to give them not only the best support, but the right support.
