Gig Buddies is a project organised by Bedford charity Living It Up. Gig Buddies support adults with learning disabilities and autism by matching them with volunteers based on similar interests so that they can be supported to live the life they choose, whilst building a genuine friendship and doing activities that they both enjoy.

As flu season approaches, residents of Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes are being urged to protect themselves and their loved ones by getting the flu vaccine. Now available, the vaccine offers essential protection against the flu virus, which can cause serious illness, especially for vulnerable groups.

The ICDSP is given unprecedented access to redacted material retained by the police to review matters of disproportionality objectively and independently, and police/detainee behaviour in the context of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedure.  

Bedford foodbank started in September 2011 and  is part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks who provide expert guidance and support.

Linking Lives Befriending Service has been supporting the lonely and socially isolated in Bedford Borough for almost five years.
