Welcome to the CVS Bedfordshire web resources, designed to equip Bedfordshire's community and voluntary sector organisations with the knowledge and practical help to developing a good practice approach to environmental sustainability.
Getting to know more / learning
At their annual conference in 2023, the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) presented a compelling project bringing together local organisations to take action on the climate emergency and ensure a just transition to a low-carbon future for our communities. Goinggreentogether provides an excellent opportunity to understand the basics of the climate emergency and why we need to take action now. Although this resource is developing for voluntary and community sector organisations in the Northeast and Cumbria, it clearly has wider value. We particularly like the ‘act’ tab which enables site users to easily focus in on their areas of interest to quickly progress to making a positive practical difference.
