BPT is an arts organisation that is established to promote the arts in all forms and manages the Place Theatre. As such it provides a wide and varied programme of arts based activities aimed at all sections of the community. It also has an outreach programme aimed at audience development within the community. The Place Theatre itself is an intimate 130-seat theatre, a favourite for local audiences and companies, and the premier arts facility for Bedford's theatre groups.
