Fun 4 Young People is a community-led organisation that has been delivering services to vulnerable children (in school years’ 1-11) in Bedfordshire for 17 years. Our face to face delivery provides after school and holiday provision with activities ranging from art, music, drama, sport, cooking and outdoor activities, so that young people may gain self confidence and motivation from developing new skills, team work and making new friends. In addition to the above provision F4YP also run a dynamic reading programme, tailored to the needs of every child whether they are building the foundations of reading or are confident in their skills. Our volunteers are committed to helping our young people build their confidence in reading, and they have undergone training in teaching phonics to develop their skills further. We also have a range of word games, phonics cubes and storytelling cards to engage even our toughest of critics.
