Single Event

To find out about volunteering locally, come along to the Point in Luton, at any time between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Find us at Smiths Square downstairs by the escalator, next to H Samuel and opposite Lidl.

You can speak to a member of staff about anything to do with volunteering and how to find opportunities in your area. 

 

We will be able to point you in the direction of some organisations that would value your help.

You will be able to register an interest with us to be kept informed of opportunities as they arise.

Opportunities include administration, conservation, befriending the elderly or someone with a disability, driving, charity shop work, mentoring ex-offenders & lots more! Training is often provided and expenses are usually paid.

Volunteering is a great way to prepare yourself for paid employment and is usually very rewarding. It builds confidence, you will meet new people, learn new skills, get a reference & have something to put on your CV.
