At the heart of every strong community is a network of people who support one another. This spirit of connection and belonging is central to the work of BAKO Sanctuary CIC, a community organisation dedicated to supporting Black African families across Bedfordshire. Founded by Hazel Muza, the organisation helps individuals and families navigate complex systems, access vital services, and overcome barriers to achieving their full potential.
This safeguarding awareness session will enable those working or volunteering in small voluntary organisations and community groups to understand what is meant by safeguarding and what to do if you suspect there is an issue.
