Make a difference with KidsOut – volunteer with us
KidsOut is looking for volunteers to help us bring some fun and happiness into the lives of children who need it most.
KidsOut is a national children’s charity that has been supporting children and families for more than 35 years. We work with organisations across the UK to provide toys, experiences and opportunities that help bring joy and positive experiences to children facing difficult circumstances.
A huge part of what we do is made possible by our volunteers.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to support our work in a number of different ways.
Warehouse volunteering
Our warehouse in Luton is the hub for a huge amount of our work.
Volunteers can help with activities such as:
* sorting and organising donated toys;
* checking and preparing items;
* packing toy boxes;
* preparing donations for distribution;
* organising stock and maintaining the warehouse;
* helping with general warehouse activities.
You don’t need previous warehouse experience. You’ll be given guidance and support, and there are opportunities to get involved on a regular basis or as part of a one-off volunteering day.
Office based volunteering at our office in Leighton Buzzard.
We’re also interested in hearing from people who have particular skills or experience that could benefit the charity.
That might include:
* administration;
* IT and digital skills;
* communications;
* fundraising;
* logistics;
* project support;
* organising and planning;
* HR and business skills.
You don’t necessarily need to commit to volunteering every week. If you have a particular skill that you’d like to share with a charity, we’d be very happy to have a conversation about how you could help.
