Reporting to the Senior Youth Development Worker, you will support the planning and delivery of a range of youth work activities. This is a hands-on role working directly with young people, helping to create welcoming, fun and meaningful sessions that reflect the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.

Reporting to the Youth Work Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality youth work for young people aged 9–18. As Youth Work Coordinator, you will take a lead role in the planning, coordination and delivery of youth clubs and activities. You will be responsible for setting up and developing new sessions, coordinating day-to-day delivery, supporting youth workers and volunteers, and ensuring high-quality youth work practice in line with the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.

Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity: Mental Health - Community Wellbeing Champion (Bedford Locality), £29,781 pa, part time (33 hours per week).

Beds RCC hosts Community Referral (Social Prescribing) on behalf of our Local Authorities and NHS partners, this role supports the service within Secondary Mental Health to work with patients who have a serious and enduring mental health condition. This service ensures that people with a range of non-medical needs affecting their health are cared for and included within their local communities, by connecting them with existing groups and activities, alongside a clinical intervention. You will work with other roles to form an MDT where patients are holistically triaged to enable them to access help.
