We’re looking for an experienced accountant to help us generate and manage new income streams and oversee financial controls. You'll be highly organised and passionate about the work you do for us as you support our vision and mission. We need your expertise in the setting and management of project budgets in order to expand the organisation and oversee the work of the part-time Finance Officer. We would like you to prepare monthly financial reports to assist the directors in making sound financial and strategic financial decisions and offer financial advice.

Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity: Mental Health - Community Wellbeing Champion (Bedford Locality), £29,781 pa, part time (33 hours per week).

Beds RCC hosts Community Referral (Social Prescribing) on behalf of our Local Authorities and NHS partners, this role supports the service within Secondary Mental Health to work with patients who have a serious and enduring mental health condition. This service ensures that people with a range of non-medical needs affecting their health are cared for and included within their local communities, by connecting them with existing groups and activities, alongside a clinical intervention. You will work with other roles to form an MDT where patients are holistically triaged to enable them to access help.

The Information & Signpost Advisor (ISA) at Luton Foodbank provides tailored support to clients in crisis, addressing food and fuel poverty. The role involves offering personalized advice, collaborating with partners, managing data, and advocating for clients' needs within the community.

Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service: On-Call Firefighters - Our On-Call Firefighters are a diverse group of people who dedicate their time to serving the local community. Some provide on-call cover from home while working their day jobs or running their own businesses, while others are stay-at-home parents providing cover around their family commitments.
