Funding & Development Workshops 2023

We will be running a new series of our free workshops for voluntary and community organisations in Bedfordshire starting in February. These will all be at CVS, 43 Bromham Rd, Bedford. Dates are as follows:
 
Fit for Funding
All the basics you will need to get ‘Fit for Funding’, including your governing document, policies, budgeting, and a brief introduction to outcomes and how to demonstrate needs.
Thursday 9 March, 10am to 1pm
Tuesday 16 May, 6pm to 9pm
 
Safeguarding Awareness
An introduction to safeguarding which aims to raise awareness of the issues for voluntary and community groups working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Wednesday 5 April, 10am to 1pm  
Tuesday 25 April, 6pm to 9pm
 
Trustee Skills
Covers the Charity Commission’s newest guidance including the 6 main trustee duties – for new trustees or existing ones wanting a refresher.
Thursday 23 February, 6pm to 9pm
Wednesday 3 May, 10am to 1pm
 
Outcomes & Impact
Explore a systematic approach to planning aims, outcomes and impact in your funding applications helping you to clearly link your aims, outcomes and activities in your applications.
Thursday 23 March, 6pm to 9pm 
Wednesday 31 May, 10am to 1pm
