The following volunteering opportunities were added to the CVS Simply Connect platform during March 2025
We have exciting new roles added almost daily onto our system, check out what's new!

Dine With Us

Cook (at home) Friday, Saturday or Sunday

To cook for our services where we serve those in need. They enjoy wholesome, hearty food with bags of flavour so if this is something you can help with, get in touch! The food is typically assembled at your home and we cook it at the unit.

Dunstable Town Council

Breakfast Club Volunteer

To support the coordination and delivery of our weekly Over 55 Breakfast Club. We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help create a welcoming environment where local residents can socialise, enjoy a breakfast, and engage with guest speakers.

Coffee and chat volunteer

As a volunteer, you will be the friendly face of these sessions. Many of our members are vulnerable, live alone or are just seeking something socially, so your primary goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to pull up a chair.

Friends of Bennetts

We are looking for an individual (or small group) to establish the "Friends of Bennett’s" as an independent, self-sustaining community organisation. While the Town Council will provide the initial launch and a home base at Bennett’s Café, the goal is for this group to find its own voice, represent local residents, and lead its own projects.

Jumbulance Trust

Admin Volunteer – Care Home Outreach Project

Your support will help care homes discover affordable, enriching days out for older residents, directly improving wellbeing, connection, and quality of life. You’ll also help Jumbulance grow its reach and support more communities across Bedfordshire and contribute to our mission of making accessible travel available possible.

NOAH Enterprise

Luton outreach worker

The volunteer role entails searching for rough sleepers and performing welfare checks on clients we are already engaging with.

Royal National Institute of Blind People

Lived Experience Speaker

We're keen to hear from you if you'd like to share your experiences as a blind and partially sighted person and help build a world which understands the impact of living with sight loss.
RNIB Community Change Champion

You'll be raising awareness, & improving understanding of sight loss through delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions in your local community. Through these engaging sessions, you'll inspire participants to make small changes to their behaviour that make a massive difference in the day-to-day lives of people with sight loss.
