Bartlow 3 counties walk - 4th May 2025
The Bartlow 3 Counties Walk which will take place on 4th May 2025. This great event has been supporting Addenbrooke’s for almost 20 years and this year hundreds of walkers will be taking part to raise funds for the new Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital campaign.
Cheer point volunteers for London Marathon

Independent Appeal Panel Member
Governance Services are currently recruiting volunteers to be members of the school appeals panel. As an impartial service provided to parents and schools, the role of the independent panel is to consider a parent or carer’s appeal, if their child is not offered a place at their preferred school.

Music 24
This role is vital to the success of Music24's therapeutic music-making sessions for people living with dementia, learning disabilities and mental heath conditions. Community Musicians should ideally play Piano or Guitar sufficiently enough to lead on an exercise.

The Access Project
We are looking for volunteer tutors to work with a young person aged 14-16, for one hour a week through the 2025-26 academic year. Tutoring sessions take place online, allowing you to volunteer at a time that works for you.
The Altering Group CIC
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong commitment to fostering positive relationships. As a Youth Mentor, you will play a crucial role in helping young people navigate challenges, set goals, and achieve their potential.
Walk The Walk
MoonWalk London 17th-18th May 2025 – Event Support
Volunteering at the MoonWalk London with Walk The Walk will offer you the chance to experience something truly unique, fun and challenging. With over 30 different roles across three shifts available – Overnight, Evening and Morning – there really is something for everyone.
Living It Up
Stay Up Late started a project called Gig Buddies, we host the Bedford project of this, which matches up volunteers to people with a learning disability and/or autism to go to gigs and other events together in Bedford.
GR8 Mates is a service that supports adults with learning disabilities and /or autism to socialise, make friends and/or romantic relationships. We hold bi-monthly events and weekly virtual social sessions.
To provide support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and other disabilities at bi monthly nightclub and gig style events held at various locations around Bedford.
These events take place from 6.45pm to midnight on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night.
Community Led Initiatives CIC
Mentoring adults with drug and alcohol issues who have reached a point in their recovery where they are motivated to make positive changes in their lives, some of whom may have multiple/complex needs, providing practical support and constructive activities to help our clients make positive lifestyle changes.
