Luton Fairness Taskforce Collaboration Fund
Luton Fairness Taskforce Collaboration Fund is open for expressions of interest.
Applications are welcome from charities and community groups who want to work together to offer interventions, support and advice to people who need it in the context of the cost of living crisis and to address associated risks around poverty.
There is a two stage application process and grants will be up to £30,000 for one year for projects that are able to begin initial work and development of a full proposal from October.
Applicants will need to show how their project is doing all of the following:
- enabling new partnerships for collaboration across organisations and the wider community
- working in an innovative and collaborative way with multiple partner organisations
- focussing on social inclusion and supporting multiple sections of the community who are experiencing health inequalities
- focussing on the needs of the community in specific neighbourhood or geographic areas, especially those areas that may not have benefitted from Contain Outbreak Management funding previously
The project will also need to be working in at least two of the following priority areas:
- community-based support for those disproportionately impacted by Covid 19
- mental health
- social isolation
- people vulnerable to and made vulnerable by Covid 19
- engagement to assess and learn from local initiatives
- harnessing capacity within local sectors – for example, voluntary, academic, commercial
