We use Simply Connect as our online volunteering platform because it does just that - it connects volunteers to organisations that are looking for volunteers. It is online with around 350 opportunities available, and can be accessed 24 hrs a day 365 days of the week.

And once you find an opportunity you like the look of you can register as a new volunteer and express your interest.

Simply Connect is a self contained platform allowing you to connect with the many different organisations with volunteering opportunities. But sometimes it helps to connect in person. We appreciate that not everyone will always find this online approach appropriate or accessible. If that's you, we can help in person, just give us a call.

Our volunteering service is for everyone, and you may need to pick up the phone or come and visit us to talk to someone one to one. For example, maybe:

• You aren’t yet sure what kind of volunteering would suit you
• You struggle with using an online system
• You have a disability which means you need some extra support or information
• You are having problems finding the right opportunity
• You are having problems using Simply Connect

Whatever the situation, talking things through with someone can clarify your thinking or throw up some additional ideas and avenues that you had never thought of.
