Opportunities to help The Panacea Charitable Trust to translate their publicity material.

About The Panacea Charitable Trust

The Panacea Charitable Trust is a UK registered charity, which was first registered with the Charity Commission in 1926.

They provide grants to the local community, support academic research, seminars, conferences and activities and operate The Panacea Museum whilst maintaining the Charity’s archive of books, manuscripts and papers.

The museum represents part of Bedford's history and volunteers are vital to their work — helping to keep the Museum open and running smoothly.

Volunteering Opportunities

There is a current need for help with translating the museum leaflet into several different languages so that information about the Museum can reach our many different communities in and around Bedford.  It is a job that can be done from home in liaison with the Museum Officer for Volunteering and Engagement.

If you are fluent in English, and one of Italian, Polish, Bengali or Punjabi and are willing to help, then you can express your interest on our volunteer platform at Simply Connect:

If you would like help using Simply Connect, or would like to talk to an Adviser about volunteering, contact  volunteering@cvsbeds.org.uk and we will be happy to chat with you.
