SEND services and events

Promote your Bedfordshire SEND services and events

Do you provide a service or run events for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families?

If so, you can promote your activities through including them in the 'Local Offer' of your local authorities.

Luton

Luton Council will be refreshing their Local Offer website and would like to make sure that it reflects the full range of activities that are available for and accessible to children and young people with SEND.

If you run activities in or around Luton you can get your organisation added to the directory online, or if you prefer, email the Local Offer Team at Luton Council SENDLuton@luton.gov.uk

Central Bedfordshire

If your services or events are in or around Central Bedfordshire, the council advertise local SEND services and events in a fortnightly SEND news bulletin and their local offer website and Facebook page.

If you would like to be featured then please email details about your service and/or event to local.offer@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk

Bedford Borough

If you run services or events in or around Bedford Borough, you can ask for your SEND activities to be included in their Local Offer by emailing local.offer@bedford.gov.uk

For those in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire, you may also be interested in finding out more about Voluntary Organisations for Children, Young People and Families (VOCypf), which is a network of over 130 voluntary and community organisations who work with all children, young people and families in Bedfordshire. If you are a not for profit group providing services for our children, young people and families, please join the community by signing up to receive and contribute to the fortnightly newsletter.
