Join the Charity where anything can happen

01 November 2021

At BDCPS we focus on ability rather than disability.

We go to great lengths to think outside the box and inspire and support disabled young people across Bedfordshire. Since 1954 BDCPS has been providing specialist playschemes, and clubs for young people with complex and sometimes life limiting disabilities. Integral to this is our critical support and wellbeing for the entire family.

Joining our board is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your skills, contributing towards the direction and leadership of our charity. You would bring along fresh ideas and guidance for future strategy and innovative service provision as we head towards our 70th year.

‘’When you are offered a chance to play a very small part of a charity, a project, like BDCPS which listens, gives back, supports and provides, why wouldn’t you want to be part of that?’’

As Chair you will play a specific and active role in leading the board of trustees to fulfil the charity’s purpose. Ideally you will have experience of board management, project development, strategy and compliance skills and the ability to inspire others.
