Stand Out programme from UpRising and One Million Mentors

16 August 2021

Free employability support programme for 18-25 year olds

Things are tough right now for young people, especially those trying to find a job.

The pandemic has reduced not only the number of jobs, but the chance to make new connections.

If you work with young people aged 18 - 25 who are not currently in employment, are in precarious work or in (or have just left) their final year of further or higher education and feel they would benefit from tailored support with their CV and applications, access to top business professionals and some of the biggest employers in the UK, connecting to likeminded people on the journey to employability - then the Stand Out programme from UpRising and One Million Mentors might be a good opportunity to refer on to.

Participants benefit from a month-long daily programme of coaching, knowledge, skills and network-building activity, followed by up to 12 months of support from a trained mentor. The programme is free and is offered live online with sessions available to re-watch afterwards.

The next programme begins on 4 October with an application deadline of 5pm on 27 September.
