Mind BLMK sessions to support emotional health and wellbeing
Mind BLMK is offering short courses free of charge, via zoom, for employees, and managers across Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire. These mentoring sessions will address supporting emotional health and wellbeing in the workplace and offer strategies to support loss, change and adjustment in our current working environment.
Wellbeing approaches to support loss, change and adjustment in our current working environment for employees/staff
(1 hour course with 30 minute open forum on zoom)
By attending this session, you will be able to identify how to develop skills in building resilience
and understanding change in work regimes during the current climate. You will gain confidence in
communication with management to seek support in regard of own emotional wellbeing.
By attending this coaching session your will:
- Be able to recognise how to build resilience and confidence for positive wellbeing.
- Learn strategies to enable coping with the loss or change of our current working practices.
- Identify the types of mind-sets and how to develop a more positive approach.
- Identify tools and techniques that support emotional health and wellbeing.
- Gain confidence in opening difficult conversations with your colleagues and / or line management.
- Recognise and develop a better awareness of wellbeing through the open room with support directed
by the Mind BLMK coach

Wellbeing strategies to support loss, change and adjustment in our current working environment for managers
(30 minute session on zoom )
This coaching is to equip managers with tools and techniques which identifies own areas of strength
which can be used as an instrument to support own wellbeing and their team/s.
You will be able to identify the most prevalent emotional health difficulties in the workplace and how
to deal with sensitive and difficult situations regarding the loss and change in our current working
environment, mental health and / or domestic abuse.
By attending this coaching session you will:
- Be able to recognise own weaknesses and strengths and utilise this when supporting others.
- Be able to approach a person who is experiencing difficulties, due to the loss and change of the new
working environment and how to bridge challenges faced and offer support. - Identify how to communicate effectively during a sensitive / difficult situation regarding loss, change,
mental health / domestic abuse. - Develop skills in the development of wellness action plans and how to implement them.
- Identify appropriate signposting and how to access information.
