Bedford Borough Youth Empowerment Fund

Bedford Borough Council Children’s Services has a funding pot of £460,000 to distribute to organisations working within Bedford Borough to support children and young people.


 
Funding applications linked to one of the following key priority areas are invited from local organisations, with preference to charities and community interest companies:

  • Homelessness
  • Domestic Violence
  • Access to jobs and training
  • Things to do and places to go
  • Support with Mental Health
  • Climate Change
  • Tackle discrimination and hate crime
  • End Knife crime and serious youth violence
  • Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND) 

Preference will also be given to those applications for demonstrably new projects and those with match funding. The fund is due to open for applications from 1 April.
