Celebrating Volunteering - Focus on Jane

Jane, our Senior Advisor, is a trustee of a local charity providing supported accommodation through Bedfordshire, and also trustee of her local Neighbourhood watch. She has been a serial volunteer ever since her Girl Guide and Duke of Edinburgh days and it was her experience in funding applications and trustee work that led her to her current role at CVS. Jane’s passion for dogs means that she volunteers as a committee member of the British Bolognese Club, and at the local Bedford and District Canine Society. Jane is also a fan of micro volunteering - and any idle time on her phone will be spent helping on one of the Zooniverse projects - a spot of penguin watching for example.
