Celebrating Volunteering - Focus on Mark

04 June 2019

Mark, CVS Advisor, is no stranger to volunteering. He is an independent councillor for Ampthill Town Council and runs the popular Ampthill.info website and facebook page.

Mark became passionate about doing more for his community after a severe illness during the 1990’s. It was his volunteer work with Citizens Advice that led him to permanent paid work after a six year break in his career.

He is founder and chair of Ampthill and District Good Neighbours, trustee at Mid Beds Citizens Advice Bureau and also a trustee for Respite at Home Volunteers.

Come and meet Mark in Waitrose, Ampthill on Friday 7 June and find out more about volunteering opportunities in Central Bedfordshire.  Details here.
