Celebrating Volunteering - Focus on Paul

Paul, CVS Advisor, had been out of work for eighteen years with a spinal problem before he started volunteering at CVS alongside MIND and the Probation Service. He is still involved with all three, 8 years later - albeit the CVS role now being his full time paid employment. Before volunteering, At the beginning, Paul was afraid to talk to anyone. Now he is keen to talk and able to empathise with those that come to him for advice from difficult positions and situations.
