 ‘Women Who Tell Our Stories’

The Retired Caribbean Nurses’ Association (RCNA) Bedford is hosting its 4th annual ‘Gathering’ on Wednesday 8th March 2023, at the Addison Centre, Addison Howard Park, Kempston MK42 8PN.  The Gathering brings together NHS staff and our local communities to celebrate the achievements of Caribbean nurses.

The RCNA (Bedford) will be sharing the event with women of the Al-Haramain Mosque and Education Centre. We have chosen International Women’s’ Day on 8March to raise the profile of women, highlight the Association’s mission statement and acknowledge its commitment to our community here in Bedford.  The event is held within the RCNA (Bedford)’s Sharing History Project, funded by the Heritage Fund, and delivered in partnership with the Higgins Museum Bedford, University of Bedfordshire and Goldington Green Academy.

All communities are welcome. For more information and to RSVP, please contact us on 07532 152 528 or email glenor.roberts@gmail.com.  We are also recruiting general volunteers to help on the day.
