Bedford River Festival Bookings Open:

Here are a few of the opportunities for not for profits to get involved in this year's Bedford River Festival:

 

Sports Village

The 21st Biennial Bedford River Festival takes place on 23 & 24 July this year with the Sports Village being located next to the Butterfly Bridge offering sports activities and  a stage for organisations and businesses to be involved with and promote themselves.  You can book a 10 minute slot on the stage, space in a covered marquee or space in the grassed area to show off your activity.  Not for profit organisations pay a reduced fee ranging from free (for 10 minutes on stage) to £60 (for marquee with activity area and access to water).   Organisations will need Public Liability Insurance.

Other Activities

Organisations can also take part in the Dragon Boat Racing on 23 July, the Open Water Swim Race on 23 July and the Raft Race on 24 July or can book a slot on the Community Stage.

Festival Participation Expression of Interest

 

Opportunity

Bedford Borough Council Events team are looking for a local organisation or group to programme and manage the Embankment Stage at the festival, providing a variety of entertainment across the weekend.  To find out more about submitting a proposal, contact events@bedford.gov.uk

Deadline for applications noon, 18 March.
