Volunteering opportunities for those passionate about Health and Social Care

Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire invite you to consider volunteering with them.

"Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, from talking to people about their experiences of local health and social care services and helping at our community outreach events.

The volunteers for Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire play a vital role in helping to ensure local people have a say in important decisions about their health and social care services.

Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire train and support local volunteers, and representatives of service users, to participate effectively in the commissioning and management of local services."

If you are interested in volunteering with healthwatch then you can register an interest on Simply Connect.

Follow the link - Healthwatch Volunteer - to read more about the roles available, and click on the green button on the top right of the page to register interest.

Alternatively, go to the Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire website where you can find information about how to contact healthwatch directly if you have any questions or would like to talk to someone about how you can help.

Volunteers can start as young as 13 and there are many opportunities for ocassional support so you will not have to make a regular commitment if that does not suit you.
