Location: Ampthill and Biggleswade and satellite locations

Job details

Salary: £21,962 fte (26 hours = £15,433) and 6% employer pension contribution.
Hours: 26 hours per week
Type of contract: Permanent, subject to funding  

Citizens Advice Mid Bedfordshire provides an advice service for people in the northern communities of Central Bedfordshire, covering 8 towns and 42 parishes from its sites in Ampthill and Biggleswade.

We are looking for a Welfare Benefits outreach worker and Advice Session Supervisor to join our small staff team. The role will be to provide a home visiting outreach service and to supervise advice sessions at our both our office locations in Ampthill and Biggleswade. The successful applicant will have a proven ability in advice work and supervising others. The role also requires excellent communication and people skills and an ability to provide constructive feedback to volunteer advisers. Training will be available for aspects of the role.

Candidates will need to possess a full driving licence and have use of a car, or otherwise have the ability to fulfill the travel requirements.
