Vacancy: Early Years Educator at Putnoe Woods Preschool

The Putnoe Woods Preschool is recruiting for a new Level 3 Early Years Educator as they have grown, and are needing to expand the team.  Apply by 25 August.


Early Year Educator (Level 3) Full Time

As an Early Years Educator, in a room based role, you will be expected to ensure the pre-school provides a safe, caring and educational environment both indoors and outdoors.  You are expected to act as a positive role model, working effectively within the team, using your initiative within the room and providing outstanding care in accordance with Putnoe Woods Mission, together with a sound understanding and knowledge of Putnoe Woods Safeguarding Policies and Procedures maintaining the safety, security and wellbeing of all children at all times.

Reporting to the Preschool Manager. 

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • You are an organised, enthusiastic team player. 
  • An excellent working knowledge and application of the EYFS through thorough planning and assessment
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with parents and families
  • The ability to be part of a professional and dedicated team
  • Minimum of level 3 early years’ qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and hold enhanced DBS disclosure.

The ideal candidate must be able to work across the whole calendar year with holidays based on our 47-week opening schedule. Your working hours will be between 7.45 am and 6.15 pm Monday to Friday. The ability to attend paid evening/ occasional Saturday training/meetings is essential.

We will offer the job holder a competitive hourly rate (in excess of living wage), access to a contributory pension, employee assistance programme and training.
