New Bursary Fund for Training from VOCypf

A new Bursary Fund has been announced, to help voluntary organisations working with Children, Young People and Families in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire to access training for staff and volunteers.


The scheme is designed to help organisations to enhance their workforce development and overall organisational performance. A maximum of £100 funding is available per person per course and a maximum of £200 is available per organisation per year.  Funds can be accessed for the cost of travel and for course fees.

Applications must be received at least two weeks before the date of the traning being applied for.  

To make an application, a completed Bursary Fund Application form should be sent to VOCypf, c/o CVS, 43 Bromham Road, Bedford MK40 2AA or email to  Please refer to the Bursary Fund Guidance notes prior to completing an application.

The scheme is now open for submission of grant applications, Funding is to support Central Bedfordshire Residents with the aim of avoiding unneccessary hospital/institutional care admissions. Applications for grant funding to be submitted by Friday 16 February.
