The Plan and Budget for the Kingsbrook and Cauldwell area of Bedford was originally approved by Local Trust at the end of 2013 and will receive £1 million to fund local schemes over a period of up to ten years. A Community Plan was developed covering the first five years of the project.
A Local Partnership guides the overall direction of the initiative, to ensure a diverse range of residents and local organisations continue to be actively involved. It’s about bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations.
You can apply for funding from The BIG Local Grants Scheme if you are a not-for-profit community group, either locally based or operating in the Kingsbrook & Cauldwell Big Local area. Grants are available between £50 and £5,000. Details of how to apply can be found on the Big Local Grants page.
The partnership is supported by a part-time Project Officer David Whitmore, who can be contacted on 01234 880610 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
